365 Days of Photography with Day Number 170 through 171…

Day 170… ©365-170There’s also this. Playing it cool while Sunday blooms. Voices carry through the sweeping of flag. It’s simple, and it’s real. Those are either coffee mugs or cigarette tins, but either guess could be wrong. The bearded fella has extended his smoke mid grin. I’m the least of their concerns. Visibly, it’s magical in its entirety, with no interruptions breaking the context.   Day 171… ©365-171 Inclined towards spring. Branding those skies with a relatively late rainbow, not quite divine or entirely important. It’s the idea of spring, entirely available. It’s capturing the items within the scene while they’re still alive.

Here is number 351… 

Intrusive spell. Multiple grays. Static skies, thick contrast, and a noisy downpour. Thunder claps, all off beat. Stan Getz over the speakers, sweet and melodic. Wipers waving. October turning into November, sharing a rare nostalgic April evening, like an old memory returning home. An emptying of hues, an evening draining away. And a rainbow, promising to never flood the earth again.
