Java Shots: Five Rivers Coffee Roasters, Along With Day Number 76…
Award winning coffee and cameras go hand in hand. No need for debate there. This was the case with Five Rivers Coffee Roasters, located in Tillamook, Oregon. Great flavor! They won the “Best Coffee in Oregon” bronze award for 2013, while previously taking gold in 2012.
Our barista, Megan, showed us around. How I wish I had one of these at home.
They roast their own beans, then distribute them at different java stops and cafes along the coast.
Beans in the raw. Straight from the burlap.
After roasting, they place the black gold in buckets, which then go home with me.
I bought a couple bags. One is going to my dad. He’s gotta kick his Boyd’s habit. This might do the trick.
Our wonderful barista, Megan. She’s holding two bags of my favorite drug, one being Fogcutter blend, the other Espresso. Holding those bags makes her look even prettier than she already is. You simply can’t go wrong. Coffee and her made for Photo Number 76.
Pay them a visit. Right along Highway 101. Or visit their website, Stimulus Espresso Cafe. You won’t be disappointed.
Boyd’s has won numerous “AWARDS” in Dufus Or, Not So Friendly Or, and Moron Or.
Mmmm Good
Where the heck is Five Creeks at anyways.
Nevermind its on Megan’s shirt, Stimulus.
Ha. Boyd received first place years ago, then Klondike came along and stole their ribbon, throwing Klondike Bars in the mix. Little known fact. Fairbanks wanted to stay fair, so that’s why they painted their town and school yellow.
