Happy Fathers day!
I spent the evening with my dad, and while out driving we had come across mint fields. I love mint fields. They remind me of being a kid fresh out of school, on the stream, throwing flies at sleek mean cutthroat trout. Mint fields crept clear down along the banks. Each passing breeze would treat with the fragrance of mint. This was back when summers meant something special. Where you had no real cares, no appointments or deadlines. It was all about discovering yourself while being a kid. Sometimes I really miss those days, and at others it seems as if I’ve forgotten all about them.
